We are pleased to share that Robert Grunenberg takes part in HALLEN Kunstfestival during Berlin Art Week for the second time, on view 5-13 September at Wilhelm Hallen.
At the center of our presentation is Weiber auf Cybertrucks (2026), a large-scale papercut by Sonja Yakovleva. Alongside it, we present a new selection of Höschen, one of Yakovleva’s most celebrated series: fifty individual works, each drawing on female figures from Greek mythology.
Across these works, Yakovleva examines body image, body optimization, and the roles we are assigned or choose. Her paper cuts trace the logic of self-optimization to its edges, asking where it converges with the logic of warfare, and what it means to wage war on one’s own body.
