Now representing Jaanus Samma:
Following several collaborations in the past years – including his solo exhibition Fool at the gallery earlier this year – we are happy to announce that Jaanus Samma has joined the gallery's program.
Jaanus Samma is an Estonian-born artist working across installation, sculpture, drawing, and intricate textiles. His practice critically engages with queer histories, cultural traditions, and public space, with a keen sensitivity to gender, sexuality, and nationality. Samma has a particular ability to locate queer subjectivity within seemingly heteronormative environments, approaching these themes with subtle humor and a refined sensibility.
